The course covers other essential health and safety aspects including manual/people handling, fire safety, accidents & incidents including RIDDOR and its implications. The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) is also included within this course, in addition to First Aid Awareness. This online training may be used as initial and / or annual refresher training.

The course also addresses Medicine Administration to the level expected of a Care & Support Worker, including the prompting of the client to take medicine and recording the outcome. This module differs to the full Safe Administration of Medicines course which addresses the full range of medicine management issues as would be expected of a person operating and managing the Safe Administration of Medicine in an environment such as a Nursing Home.
